Resumen
From the West, standards have been set regarding the interpretation of human rights that have led to the neocolonization of various territories in that by generating a single vision of these, they allow the territories of communities that do not respond to the same dynamics to be occupied. In this sense, taking advantage of the accepted position, territorial occupations are generated that generate the division of said communities and with this their disappearance, in the same way, the appropriation of the territory is achieved for the purposes of economic exploitation that generate wealth in the neo-colonizing country, leaving them relegated to the occupied countries. Thus, this research describes the western criteria for the interpretation of human rights, as well as the neocolonization methodologies that use these interpretation criteria, culminating in the case study of the division of the members of the Wayuu community in La Guajira and their separation from the ancestral territories on the occasion of exploitation by the Multinational mining Cerrejón.
