The design of a pavement structure, whether flexible, rigid or articulated, is a subject of investigation, due to the different variables that must be taken into account to develop the dimensioning of the structure. This work specifically evaluates rigid pavement design methodologies such as AASHTO and PCA, having the criteria of semi-empirical and rational parameters in order to establish the optimal pavement structure. Likewise, this work is carried out to know the current conditions of the explored road as transit, geotechnical and hydrological, as well as the characteristics and properties that occur in the area and proceed to implement an optimal design for the project
