Resumen
This research project aims to propose the teaching of philosophy as a strategy for the development of critical thinking, for this other research has been taken into account, such as international, national and local, which were undertaken to develop the categories of philosophy, education and thought critical. The proposal was approached from the qualitative approach with a projective scope where the survey, interview and observation techniques were applied, to collect the information and provide a possible solution to the problems that arise in the Educational Institution. This proposal allows children to develop critical thinking and enhance the competencies of being, knowing and doing in the teaching-learning process. In the results obtained, the need to offer a philosophical training at an early age was evident, in order to structure in the educator a critical position regarding the phenomena that occur in his environment. In addition, the project contributes to the development of skills such as: Cooperative work, communication, leadership, sociability, democracy, suitability in any context, because they have developed the ability to ask, argue and make meaningful proposals. Finally, in this work we want to present three strategies that strengthen critical thinking: first, to include philosophy in the basic primary curriculum; second, encourage collaborative work and third, apply the routine of thinking see, think and act, which contributes to the development of critical thinking in children.
