Materials and Methods: We searched on the Internet through two databases: Medline PubMed search was limited to literature published since 1980, the search yielded 152 articles in English. For Spanish-language literature search using th terms "stems cells and periodontology" and gave a list of 70 items of which 45 were in English, after applying the critical analysis caspe guides the material fell 15 items. Conclusion: The reconstruction of a healthy periodontium destroyed by periodontal disease, is a primary goal in periodontal therapy, could be postulated that stem cells extracted from autologous hematopoietic tissue, help repair tissues lost to chronic periodontitis. | es |
