Resumen
The object to be studied in the present research exercise is the certification of free properties of Bovine Brucellosis in the municipalities of Arauca and Arauquita. Twenty thousand (20,000) samples were taken for the diagnosis of bovine brucellosis, divided in two phases, with an interval of one hundred twenty (120) days, reaching with this 100% of the programmed for the two phases, being implemented the diagnostic tests of Polarized Fluorescence and Competitive Elisa. These samples were taken in one hundred and fifty-three (153) properties, of which eighteen (18) properties correspond to the Municipalities of Arauca and one hundred thirty-five (135) correspond to the Municipality of Arauquita, included within the zone of high vigilance and mostly linked to the milk collection center of La Esmeralda. For the development of this activity the samples were taken by the Veterinarians registered to the body applying the current regulations, the diagnosis was made to all the bovine females older than twenty-four (24) months of age and whole males older than eight (08) months of age. As part of the development of activities in the process of certification of Brucelosis-free premises, socialization training was carried out on issues of diagnosis, control, brucellosis prevention and requirements to be a beneficiary of the program., Addressed to producers of the Municipality of Arauquita, breeders of the Municipality of Fortul and cattlemen of the municipality of Tame with a total of 67 producers. Among the objectives to fulfill this work is the development and implementation of a certification manual for bovine brucellosis-free premises, that allows clarity and more information on various issues or difficulties that arise when entering a program. Said manual will allow a description of the certification of properties free of bovine brucellosis, step by step, taking into account the requirements and commitments with the corresponding entities and the activities that were carried out most during the practices. It was possible to demonstrate that the integration of this method helps in practice to give clarity and precision in the procedures to the breeders, generating trustworthiness to incentivize to be linked to the program, thus guaranteeing quality conditions and safety to the user.
