Resumen
The purpose of this research is to analyze the relationship between styles, learning strategies and academic performance of young offenders of the Luis Amigó y Ferrer School in the Medellín city, Colombia, for which a quantitative, non-experimental, transectional and descriptive co-relational study was designed for a population of 234 participants, through the application of the CHAEA questionnaire of Honey and Alonso (2007) that measures Learning Styles and the ACRA questionnaire of Roman and Gallego (1994) that measures the Learning Strategies, to later to make the analysis comparing the results of the Tests with the Academic performance. For the research group, the Styles and Learning Strategies manifest the capabilities of the person, that if the teachers know them, they will be able to conduct the teaching, helping to raise the levels of the educational quality in the adolescent. From the work done, it is found that there is a relationship between learning styles, learning strategies and academic performance. The most significant correlations are found in the subjects that present low performance levels.
