The objective of this project was to evaluate the feasibility, to adapt a new system of gray water reuse in new projects for housing (strata medium - high) at Bogotá city, in 8 story residential buildings. We performed a basic engineering study, which includes a technical study, identifying important issues as supply and demand analysis of water consumption, discussing the viability of each component of the reuse system. Subsequently, a simulation of the reuse system were done within which, with real data of pure water consumption, we verified the independence of the consumption per apartment and determine how often is the use of each of the sources at home (Toilet, Washing Machine, Dishwasher, and Sinks). The result provides the total flow that must support the system, which determined that the building in its maximum consumption conditions, has a resulting in flowing of 784m3 per day and determine that the feasibility of the system has the capability of operation to reuse flush water into the toilet. With the results we made an economic survey, conducted through the analysis of material, supplies and labor prices. An economical projection is performed and obtains the necessary budget for the system to be developed in the early stages of implementation.
