The St. Vincent de Arauca hospital is a social enterprise status, which provides comprehensive health services of medium complexity in the town of Arauca. Today, the St. Vincent de Arauca hospital has a deficit in the protection of information resulting from the processes of management of biomedical equipment maintenance because you do not have a system efficient enough to handle biomedical procedures. Under the above considerations, the execution of this project aims to develop software that, under the methodology of Rapid Application Development (DRA) using the programming language PHP with AJAX, connected to MYSQL database and library Jquery JavaScript allows the control and administration of the management process of biomedical maintenance of the aforementioned hospital, under the guidelines of the World Health Organization (WHO). Some advantages with the software to tell the biomedical maintenance management is to generate a plan for annual preventive maintenance, which can be modified as unforeseen activities that occur and have the system take control procedures performed each team taking into account the different environment variables such as location data and biomedical equipment, also the system will facilitate communication between the different service areas with maintenance, reducing response time and resolution. In addition to the above benefits of the use of ICT in internal processes of the Hospital San Vicente de Arauca, it should be noted that the software will have a friendly user interface generating information in a dynamic way and concrete where the level of complexity management Software is very low, but with high functionality in different processes. For the Hospital San Vicente have a very positive impact as taking optimal mechanism with the use of information technologies in maintenance management will help reduce the partial or total closure of an area or office by the malfunctioning medical equipment, can check smoothly, generating cash income to the institution for medical procedures involved.
