sychomotricity is a field of behavior whose core is the movement. It is classified as thin and thick, the gross motor is interrelated with large muscle groups that allow the movements of the body to perform functions such as sitting, walking, breathing, on the other hand, the Fine motor skills requires short muscle coordination, in order to perform activities like trimming figures, stringing beads or grabbing the pencil to draw and brush. Bacterial plaque is one of the risk factors that are involved in the etiology of oral diseases such as caries, gingivitis and periodontitis, this is where brushing and motor skills play a role important for the prevention of these diseases. The removal of bacterial plaque will be given by motor skills during tooth brushing, helping to prevent oral diseases, hence the importance of motor development in oral hygiene practices, which could affect health mouth of children. The objective of this investigation was to relate the level of caries susceptibility and periodontal disease, with the level of motor and joint movement in children from eight to eleven years old in the Parish School San Andrés Apóstol. Hecarried out a quantitative study, with a transversal descriptive cut, the sample fulfilled with the following inclusion criteria: children from eight to eleven years old, enrolledin the Parochial San Andrés Apóstol School, with voluntary participation in the study.
