Objective. Identify the prevalence of Bullying associated with high school students enrolled in 2018 at Cartagena educational institute. Methods and Materials. A correlational, cross sectional, descriptive study was performed. Two survey instruments were used to obtain data from a sample of 244 high school students between 6th grade to 9th grade applying the Cisneros scale adapted to Colombia as Bullying measurement and PHQ 9 survey aimed at detecting the depression. Bivariated analysis was performed and the Odds Ratio association was implemented using Epi info version 7.2.2.6. Results. The average age was 14.06 years old with DS 1,59; 127 of the sample was male and 117 was female. The study found Bullying prevalence at the rate 35,66 per cent and depression at the rate 26.2 per cent, the rate highlighted was 11 per cent of students have thought in the last two weeks is better to be dead or hurt himself in some way, the significant statistically association between Bullying and depression was found (p=0.00000017). Conclusions. At least one-third the population had been exposed to bullying, it is shown that the population with the highest depression associated with bullying is 11 to 15 years old and that it is not significant at older ages and moderate depression is the most frequent form of presentation according to the instrument used to measure it.
