Resumen
The Integral Routes of Health Care (RIAS) define the necessary conditions to assure the integrality in the attention by the agents of the Health System and to respond to the attentions and interventions in health directed to all the people. This is done through Intersectoral and Sectoral Actions aimed at promoting the welfare and development of individuals, families and communities, with individual and collective attention for health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and palliation and care actions. When carrying out these Actions, it is necessary to take into account the improvement of the quality in the attention, the achievement of the expected results in health, the security and increase of the satisfaction of the user and the optimization of the resources use. According to the Comprehensive Health Care Policy, it is necessary to implement the RIAS to increase the level of quality of the services offered, the institutional image and the trust of the users. To respond to this need in ESE San Rafael of the Municipality of Santo Domingo (Antioquia), the degree of implementation of the perinatal maternal RIAS was evaluated. This was carried out through an interview with the manager of the institution and the measurement of the milestones with the indicators proposed by the route. It was found that the institution has medium low levels of implementation with some actions developed within the institution. However, intersectoral care routes must be established, and a more extensive exercise must be carried out with the health secretary and with all the Benefit Plan Insurance Entities (EAPB).
