The Audit for the Improvement of the Quality of Health Care is a mandatory component that must be implemented by health institutions, as a tool for quality management and management, based on the measurement of the performance of their processes, contemplating the PHVA cycle (Plan, Do, Verify and Act) under the systemic approach, in order to achieve higher quality standards such as the contents of the Single System of Accreditation in Health.
