In the present analysis of literature, the approach that from the scientific writings and / or investigations have been made against the new masculinities in the television, its evolution and development in countries of Spanish speech was studied. The information was obtained through the search in different scientific databases, such as virtual libraries and journals such as: Readlyn, Scielo, Science direct, Dialnet, Proquest, and Google academic, where 64 sources were found relevant to the proposed analysis, of which 23 were discarded for not complying with the appropriate filters, of the 41 that were left, 32 correspond to scientific articles that address the subject with the approach that interests us, 5 undergraduate assignments, 3 books, with the same focus, and a paper that It was carried out in Spain and was documented. For the process, the communication and environment approach were taken into account, as well as theoretical referents and authors such as Jesús Martín Barbero and Germán Rey with their book the Exercises of the See and Serge Moscovici with his Theory of social representations. All the information was classified into two categories, the first, construction of Gender through Television, which shows the evolution of masculinity from the hegemonic to the new masculinities that have been classified through the eyes of different authors, and the second, the evolution of masculinity in television, where it is understood how the role that man has played in the family and workforce has evolved.
