The objective of this research was to identify the relationship between attention and language in the academic performance of students of the psychology faculty of the Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia Medellín, a sample of 30 students, over 18 years of age, was evaluated. Third and tenth semester. The methodology of this research had a non-experimental quantitative design of descriptive and correlational scope. For the evaluation, the following instruments were used: Wisconsin Card Classification Test, Neuropsi, WAIS IV Adults (Vocabulary subscales, comprehension, cubes and matrices) and the Trace Test T.M.T. As a result, the proposed hypothesis is confirmed, evidencing a positive correlation between attention, language and academic performance.
