Resumen

This dissertation aims to raise awareness about the issues of Hygiene and Safety at Work, which provide the right conditions in the workplace, to protect the health of employees and employees of a company. Factors that may affect the work environment and the worker, of occupational diseases, and the procedures that must be adopted to eliminate or reduce occupational risks and their health problems are addressed. In order to know if workers are informed in practice about the existence and application of hygiene and safety conditions at work, a review was made at the ALLIANZ BARRANQUILLA MEDICAL CENTER. We have found that, although respondents are aware of the need for existence and compliance with hygiene and safety standards, most do not know them and do not know if they apply to their place of work. It can be inferred from the results obtained and duly analyzed that the communication at this level between organizations and their collaborators does not work properly, because the company is effectively obliged to comply with the rules established in the area of research hygiene and safety at work, but They do not do it correctly. They should, for example, promote awareness campaigns in which employers and officials are alerted to the importance of this area. A successful company must ensure a safe and healthy work environment for its employees, and inform them of the behaviors that must be adopted to make this happen.
