The expectations can be considered as beliefs or mental representations in which the human being is based to carry out any activity, task or behaviour and they can have a strong impact on the other people. Is the intention of this investigation work to describe how the expectations of the teachers ones (which can be positive or negative), do they influence on the motivation and the academic yield of the grade 801 students' in the Educative Center Faith and Happiness Garcés Navas?To determine the description of this dynamics I’m made a descriptive study - phenomenological of qualitative court and the instruments were individual interviews not structured applied at thirteen (13) teachers and at twenty (20) students, and the technique of revision of documents. These instruments allowed obtaining the necessary information these expectations together to the teacher process can generate effects on the student's motivation and the academic acting regarding and also regarding if the Effect Pygmalion is or not completed.
