Corporate social responsibility is the way in which companies integrate their economic activity with social and environmental commitment, so as to promote the growth in companies and interested groups. For this research, a diagnosis that determined the level of social responsibility of the supermarket chain Mercacentro of the city of Ibagué; similarly, a quantitative approach was used, and administered a structured survey on a sample of fifty employees of the entity to obtain social, environmental and labor climate information. The results were obtained through a series of indicators, which were analyzed and reached results that reveal a growing corporate social responsibility, which contrasts with the lack of structuring of budgetary policies in this matter, which allow for greater organization and control of operations.
