Resumen
The main objective that seeks to achieve this social and business practice is based on strengthening the services provided by the employment exchange of the Cooperative University of Colombia, an area of utmost importance for the fulfillment of the mission objectives of the institution. To achieve this objective, in the first place, an exhaustive promotion was carried out throughout the academic community to achieve the massive registration of graduates of the different programs as well as the active students of the last two semesters of their curricular network. To achieve this goal, multiple talks were held in the classrooms to talk with the students who met the requirements and telephone calls were made to dialogue with the graduates of the institution and provide them with pertinent information regarding the services of the employment exchange. These activities resulted in the registration of 60 students and 10 graduates who were not yet enrolled in the registers of the employment exchange. The next objective that was fulfilled was to update the database of graduates. This was done in order to obtain data that would allow the University to maintain permanent contact with the graduates. This objective resulted in the update of 35.3% of the database, corresponding to 112 of 316 graduates listed in the database. A very relevant fact is that only 0.94% refused to provide any type of information via telephone, so the results of the management are positive. The last of the objectives achieved that allowed the strengthening of the services provided by the employment exchange was the support to the training plan carried out by the area addressed to the entire student community in general. The purpose was to provide an adequate orientation to students of all semesters on employment issues, job interviews, labor market among others. As a result, it was found that attendance at the talks was 55% for female students and 45% for male students. Given these results, it can be seen that the management carried out in the employment exchange shows a positive balance since they were able to meet all the objectives set, thus promoting the consolidation and strengthening of the services offered by the employment exchange.
