Resumen
The Cooperative University of Colombia being a social interest entity, has a program called Monitors Solidarity belonging to the department of social projection, which through organized social projects offers students of last semesters of undergraduate and teachers the opportunity to contribute positively to the development of communities and self-managed organizations. In this context, the students that belong to this program prepare a report based on the experiences obtained in the LGBTI community, the contributions, guidelines, recommendations and corrections issued by the teacher in charge of the project. The present is a document focused on the realization of a Seminar-Workshop of personal finance and formulation of projects for the LGBTI population, in which a distributed intervention methodology was used in three stages of Situational Analysis, Intervention and Evaluation with an excellent result not only for our team and for the population, but also for the faculty since this activity opens the doors to improve the project from the following semester. It must be borne in mind that personal financial planning and organization is fundamental for family and business financial development; since if resources are given an adequate management, it is possible to venture into other financial and investment areas. In the same way, people must generate innovative business ideas that contribute to personal, social, economic development and protection of the environment. It is important to know different ways of managing national and international resources for the development of new ventures and business ideas, which can contribute significantly to the country.
