Resumen
Through this research project, panels based on wood waste were developed, which is an abundant and renewable resource very useful if it is given an adequate management; This material combined with "polyvinyl alcohol" polymers perform a specific function homogenizing the sawdust microparticles allowing a structure of optimal behaviors for the performance of the panels. Sawdust as a main component thanks to the result of the sawmill industry and its treatment for the preparation of the panels, does not harm the conservation of the environment; the mixture of these residues becomes elements of natural and ecological construction at low cost for human consumption. When analyzing the results obtained in the laboratory tests stipulated in the ASTM standard, acoustic, thermal and mechanical properties are obtained because it is a material that tends to recover its original shape after being subjected to loads "elastic properties". Through the culmination of this innovation and creation of the mixtures between polymers, resins and sawdust, it was possible to produce panels based on wood and polymer waste in the city of Villavicencio, as a model for the production of materials in the construction whose impact is positive for the economy and the conservation of the environment that paves the way towards the era of technology and industry, demonstrating that it has no limits when reusing resources for really beneficial purposes for society.
