Resumen
The heat repeating cows are a very frequent problem in production systems that generate economy and imbalance of the productive parameters of any herd. It will be characterized by being cows that repeat the heat and not pregnant after three or more natural or natural inseminations and clinical examination without symptoms associated with this syndrome. The causes are multiple, include external factors that affect the environment and surrounding conditions, an energy imbalance in food and internal factors such as infectious, viral, inflammatory, genetic and traumatic pathologies, triggering early embryonic losses up to 16 days and lost late embryos from 18 to 45 days of gestation. The objective of the next review is to describe the causes and treatments for the estrus repeating cows syndrome (SVR), based on protocols of synchronization and application of hormones that help regulate the functioning of the estrous cycle and thus reduce the incidence of SVR.
