Resumen
The 19th century was called the "century of freedom." A good number of countries, including ours, achieved their independence and began to build the foundations of a democratic, free and equitable society. Without slavery, without political or economic dependence and without yokes that subjugate societies, the new nations began to walk on new possibilities of development, stability and equality for their citizens. However, the 20th century, which should have been the "century of equality", ended its period ten years ago with the worst figures for inequality, poverty, misery and disease. Despite the large number of scientific, technological and economic advances, the 20th century was characterized as the most inequitable for the world. Today, after having witnessed the passing of ten years of the 21st century and after also witnessing one of the worst economic crises in recent years, some politicians, businessmen and academics suggest the need to establish a new order in the way of doing economics. . Without ignoring the great advances that have been generated in the markets thanks to capitalism, individuals and society in general must seek a new way of establishing commercial market or exchange relationships that contribute to generating a better quality of life; In short, a way of operating economically, generating well-being.
