Resumen
Tax incentives for micro-entrepreneurs in Colombia, specifically for the city of Ibagué, represent an economic benefit for micro-entrepreneurs who must declare and pay taxes, Since they allow the reduction in the liquidation of these and as for the government, this is favored with the timely payment by the taxpayers and the massive declaration of payers seeking to benefit from the different incentives. To do this, micro-entrepreneurs must generate strategies or financial and tax planning, according to their economic activity and income, that allows an adequate use and application, this in order to timely comply with financial and tax obligations, to reduce tax evasion and access to incentives that help reduce financial expenses, in order to generate more profitability for the economic entity. The importance of the following research project lies in the analysis of the different incentives provided by the government to microentrepreneurs in the city of Ibagué, the methodology is mixed, because it involves the accumulation and study of quantitative data through the survey conducted at seventy (70) micro and qualitative entrepreneurs through systematic and documentary techniques with the help of the identification of tax incentives for micro-entrepreneurs in the city of Ibagué, followed by the decomposition of the application of tax incentives and finally the use of tax incentives would be scrutinized. This allows us to conclude that microentrepreneurs make profits in reducing the payment of taxes or tax obligations, stimulating microentrepreneurs to the continuous improvement of their businesses and the timely payment of taxes, avoiding evasion.
