The objective of this project, presented as a degree thesis, is to analyze the degree of maturity, in TD and ED of the hotel sector, accommodation and lodging in the Tourist, Cultural and Historical District of Santa Marta, department of Magdalena, Republic of Colombia. Because tourism is one of the most important sectors of the city and one of the most affected in recent years, we have proposed to investigate the different strategies that the sector has implemented for the use of new technologies that allow the improvement of tasks. In the organizations, for this, a questionnaire of 20 questions, adapted from ANDY, was carried out in April 2022, where the businessmen gave their point of view regarding issues of transformation and digital strategy.
