Resumen
At present and taking into account the challenges that the new generations bring with them, education in Colombia faces multiple challenges; probably the most important is to provide students with adequate tools for their training; however, responding to this aspect, brings with it the need to carefully scopes the areas of development, human competencies and essentially the individuality of the student; It is here where the need to generate dynamic, contextualized formative spaces that respect the particularity of each individual is demonstrated. Thus, it was decided to undertake the investigation of a fundamental topic that has been neglected in the Colombian educational system: the motivation of the teacher in the teaching process and in this specific case in the area of mathematics. We worked at the Rafael Maya Cultural Institute in Suba, Bogotá, with elementary school teachers who teach mathematics and who do not have disciplinary training in the area, seeking to increase motivation in the teaching of this area through the didactics of Multiple Intelligences. In this sense, it was proposed to establish a Virtual Learning Object for the motivation towards the teaching of Mathematics from the use of Multiple Intelligences; with this purpose, the motivational level of the sample object of this study in the teaching of mathematics was determined and it was specified how much this process influences the motivation levels of the teachers.
