This project is a methodological proposal aimed at enriching the teaching of English. This consists of a teaching strategy based on the concept of digital citizenship. This translates into the development of learning experiences where the individual becomes literate from their interaction with technician information strategies and communicative multimedia tools such as ICT, TAC and TEP. It is verified that the model of digital citizenship is an effective tool for strengthening communicative competence in learning English. The population that served as a sample for this research was the group of students of course 809 of the Colegio Manantial de Vida Eterna. A diagnosis was made based on the Cambridge Key English Test - KET international exam, which examines level A2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), in order to measure the level that students should have in this course and thus establish actions to improve their skills. This study is a socio-critical qualitative proposal. Finally, the proposal made is based on the learning process that students have, their interests, tastes and needs, and the advantages of using PBL in the oral production of students and training in digital citizenship.
