Resumen
Microcredits support seedbeds of entrepreneurs through lines of credit from financial entities, designed to expand, invest and leverage new ventures. In this scenario, the study will analyze the credit policies of financial entities for the application of credits in support of the development of business ideas in micro entrepreneurs. At the methodological level, it is a mixed investigation, gathering relevant information regarding the experience of women micro entrepreneurs in relation to internal credit policies, and in thesame way, the commitment of financial entities to host this market of entrepreneurs, considered high risk in the return of money for these entities. The results of the investigation revealed that factors such as the lack of business positioning, the lack ofadequate strategic planning that allows forecasting the break-even point and obtaining profitability, as wellas poor payment behavior in the financial history with ratings of the Score lower than 680 and the lack of monetary support are immediate causes for rejecting credit applications. On the other hand, as a limitation for the acquisition of microcredits, the few policies of the stategovernment designed to shelter that population that does not have any other type of opportunity to financeits enterprise. Similarly, the study determined that gender is irrelevant at the time of granting a loan, becausefinancial entities analyze the person under the parameters of prior compliance with the establishedrequirements, as evidenced by a study by the Chamber of Commerce in 2018, where the entrepreneurial population in Colombia corresponds to 48.3% of the female gender, compared to 51.70%, figures that showa very small difference.
