ASD is characterized by the presence of limitations in emotional regulation skills. The present systematic review analyzed documentation related to the strategies of regulation and emotional stimulation that are composed in three key aspects for the implementation of these skills, as the first instance is emotional recognition and identification, continues with emotional understanding and ends with proper emotional expression; understanding how these elements are presented in each child who has ASD supports the implementation of strategies. The systematic research was developed with the methodology of systematic review with a qualitative approach, which allowed an analysis of the knowledge reflected in the different biographies consulted.
