Entrepreneurship and business creation is a constant in the developing economy, a situation that has caused an overwhelming interest in studying micro and small organizations, a situation that was not common in previous decades, for example, literature and studies on entrepreneurship are becoming more common and many of these are focused on the growth of organizations, and those that are required to achieve this goal (Hernandez-Sanchez & Rodriguez-Soto, 2013), the easiest reason to explain is that this segment The business sector has a great representation in the business fabric and contributes a lot to the economy of the country and the regions, as evidenced in the data collected by specialized entities (Camara de Comercio Sur y Oreinte del Tolima, 2018). For these arguments, the present study, under a mixed methodology, has as a general objective, to propose strategic marketing elements found in the literature and that contribute to the process of business formalization, applicable to a Mipyme of commercialization of livestock and agricultural supplies in El Espinal Tolima. , in order to advance theoretical issues and to answer the research question about what are the elements of strategic marketing found in the literature and that contribute to the process of business formalization, applicable to a Mipyme of commercialization of livestock and agricultural inputs in The Spinal Tolima? The results show that it is not only an important issue, but that marketing contributes more in terms of formalization than even the same state pressure to which many companies may be subject in their first years of service or in the first one in the market.
