The project was developed in the Colegio Ciencia y Vida in Medellín city with the students of the tenth grade, attending to the need observed in the field diaries and ICFES test results to improve the skills of students in the calculation of volume and capacity of geometric solids for problem solving. The proposal of the pedagogical intervention developed in 3 phases, A, B and C respectively, according to the levels of evolution of geometric reasoning proposed by Van Hiele, this proved positive results in the post-test in the level of competence reached by the students.
