At the end of 2019, humanity was surprised by a pandemic, which generated a socio-economic and health impact worldwide. By March 2020, Colombia began a mandatory confinement that changed the work modalities to which it was accustomed, such as teleworking, remote work and semi-attendance. Causing workers to have to adapt their home to a work environment, in some cases workloads were assumed that manifested themselves in an exhaustion syndrome, characterized by lack of motivation, frustration and low performance, among others, known as Burnout syndrome. . Therefore, in this article, it is proposed to address this syndrome from cognitive-behavioral therapy, to control and stabilize the emotions of workers, thus reducing the negative consequences of burnout syndrome from self-regulation and self-monitoring strategies of the different situations.
