Resumen
Life as we know it is possible from the water resource “WATER”. The administration of this resource assumes a vital level of importance since it is a necessary but vulnerable natural resource. With social, environmental, cultural and fundamental incidence for the economic development of the country. "The water content in vegetables varies from 60% to 95% of their weight, in insects it is 50%, in fish it can reach 70% and in man it is approximately 68%. , which is why it can be concluded that WATER is the vital element for all living beings ”(Combi Visual Encyclopedia, Grolter International Inc.). Defined the importance in water management and the relationships that exist between agriculture, specifically irrigation and the need to feed a population is growing, narrow and dramatic. Irrigation is generally considered to be essentially linked to the agricultural sector. In reality, irrigations are integral development projects that encompass almost all sectors of economic activity, which is why the approach to the Design and Implementation of an Alternative Irrigation System for the Efficient Use of Water in Fruit and Vegetable Crops is developed. Implementation in the Yucape Village Located in the Municipality of Lejanías-Meta. Once the importance of water management has been defined, this alternative is developed for the purpose of implementing irrigation for fruit crops in the remote municipality, with this irrigation model operating times are optimized and with this a rational use of water is achieved, reaching to the equilibrium point between system operation and water requirement per hydration point.
