The city of Villavicencio has had an increase in its vehicular flow in recent years, this being noticed through vehicular congestion, which frequently occur on the roads of the city, so the need arises to seek mobility alternatives that allow a more optimal flow of vehicles on the roads. The objective of this document is to study the vehicular congestion presented at the traffic light intersection, entrance to Semillano Carrera 22 Calle 5B with the adequacy of a new interception on Carrera 22 Calle 8ª, in the Postobon-Pto López direction. By performing a simulation in the Vissim program, which will allow to appreciate the behavior of the flow of vehicles with the proposed solutions.
