| Resume: | La ingeneiría civil tiene entre sus objetivos el atender las necesidades de la población civil en cuanto a infraestructura se refiere. Por lo tanto, poder identificar y analizar cuales son los retos y oportunidades que tiene la ingeniería civil en la transición de ciudades a ciudades inteligentes permitira que los ingenieros civiles se preparen en la nueva tendencia mundial y entren en concordancia con el desarrollo sostenible. |
| Abstract: | One of the objectives of civil engineering is to meet the needs of the civilian population in terms of infrastructure. Therefore, being able to identify and analyze what are the challenges and opportunities that civil engineering has in the transition from cities to smart cities will allow civil engineers to prepare for the new world trend and come into line with sustainable development. |
