Traffic congestion has been one of the most serious problems in the large cities due to their population growth and, therefore, the demand vehicle that this presents to the need of the population to be transported, where many of the mobility study indicators indicate that this will be even more serious over time, this being a great impact on the quality of life of citizens. The costs of the traffic jams that are presented daily in the main roads of the country's cities bring with them great losses for citizens, this is reflected in the progressive reduction of the speed of circulation, which translates into an increase in travel time, consumption of fuel, operating costs and air pollution. Faced with this crisis, mobility administrators have applied measures in vehicular traffic such as the peak and plate, implementation of means of transport that use energies renewable energy sources and additionally propose strategies that promote alternative transportation such as: use of the bicycle, trips on foot and a sustainable mobility intermodality, however, these strategies have been implemented in few of the large cities of the country.
