The project Una aventura por la lectura y la escritura a través de la literatura infantil: Propuesta didáctica para el trabajo con los estudiantes de formación básica del colegio villas del progreso to design a pedagogical strategy through a didactic booklet to implement with children in the second grade, cause literacy is becoming increasingly important in education. Teachers are concerned about the low level of reading and writing of second grade students, where factors such as the socio-cultural context, the lack of habit and the low accompaniment in the learning processes interfere, which added to biological issues makes reading vary from one infant to the other and be a difficult work. A very recurrent factor is the coding to listen to sounds and thus form words this makes reading present difficulty for them, the learning of writing begins gradually recognizing the codes to transcribe them or where the teacher regularly performs dictations so that the student acquires agility and practice in writing. For these reasons and many more, we want to implement in the processes of literacy, children's literature, through a didactic booklet that allows working in class with children, and contributes to their learning by allowing them: discover unknown words, helping them to increase their vocabulary in a fun way; improve concentration; improve memory; generate new knowledge; know other worlds; and develop imagination. It is worth mentioning that this project arises in the middle of virtuality or remote classes with our students, to cover the need in children who do not have connectivi.
