The objective of this work was to design a basic virtual course in social project management, which allows obtaining knowledge on how to develop and present reparation proposals to members of the Public Force appearing before the Special Justice for Peace. Following a socio-constructivist methodological approach and learning by competencies, a curricular structure was designed based on the Know-Be-Do triad, articulated through the SOLO taxonomy; with which, a basic course of six modules is produced on the virtual Moodle platform. The course was publicized for its pilot test from a Social-Ad to the target population, in which 40 of those interested, developed and finished satisfactorily. Regarding the results, a mixed data collection instrument was applied that recorded impressions and recommendations of the participants. As the main conclusion, it is obtained that the use of technological and virtual tools contributed to their learning process, allowing strengthening and updating the pedagogical and methodological dynamics based on self-training, collaboration, and communication, thanks to access to a large amount of information resources. As the main recommendation, it is suggested the importance of: i) creating strategies that allow participants to be captivated to complete the course in its entirety; and ii) establish the feasibility and ease of an open source platform that allows the possibility of migrating the contents. This is because it could make the mistake of wasting valuable resources (time, effort and money). Finally, it is expected that this work will serve as a contribution to future research on the design of virtual courses.
