The objective of this research was to identify the experiences and emotions in boys and girls from 10 to 13 years old, students of the Gabriela Mistral school in the municipality of Melgar-Tolima. For this purpose, a study with a mixed methodological approach was carried out. The procedure consisted in the application of the tool H-GRAFINAR-E (2019), through which the perception of boys and girls vis-à-vis adults who are part of their school environment was investigated. The sample consisted of a total of 21 participants, however, only 10 participants were analyzed, who completed the entire procedure of the activity. The research question revolved around what is the perception that children have about teachers, parents and adult figures that surround the school? The results showed that in general the evaluated students have a positive perception of the role of the adult in the school context, since most of the children assigned emotions of joy to both the teacher and the parents and even the ice cream vendor. , from one of the plates. Regarding the comparison of emotions by gender, it was observed that both boys and girls used the emotion of joy more frequently. In conclusion, it was determined that in particular this context for the children of the Gabriela Mistral de Melgar school is positive. The results were delivered to the school and compared with the perception of the directives and teachers, in general, of a pleasant and healthy school context for their development.
