Systematic review of early pregnancy factors in adolescents from Latin American countries. Introduction: Pregnancy in adolescence is gestation that occurs between 10 and 19 years of age. In addition, various studies show that the increase in pregnancy has occurred in all social strata, both in rural and urban areas and at all educational levels. Objective: To carry out a systematic review of literature regarding personal, family and social factors, incidents in adolescent pregnancies in Latin American countries. Methodology: A systematic review was carried out, in which a meticulous bibliographic search was carried out, between the years 2014 and 2020. Databases, scientific journals, theses and scientific articles from Latin American countries were consulted. Result: Adolescent pregnancy has been linked to multiple social determinants (low socioeconomic level, low level of education, absence of a life project), political (insufficient sexual education in the educational system, lack of public policies on sexual health), individual (earlier and earlier sex life and low family planning rates) and from the media. Conclusions: adolescent pregnancy continues to be a social and health problem, conditioned by psychological, educational, socioeconomic and demographic factors, where the early initiation of sexual relations, belonging to a dysfunctional family, the attained level of schooling, the area where adolescent girls live and have addictive behaviors.
