The objective of this Documentary Review was to analyze the factors associated with Academic Performance of University students in Latin America. Based on a technical guide, 55 articles were found in multiple databases such as Dialnet, Scielo, Redalyc.org and Google Scholars. The results obtained allowed us to analyze that the factors that recurs the most in the reviewed studies are learning and approaches styles and that the factor that’s most positively associated with Academic Performance in Latin American university students, is having good emotional intelligence.
