Resumen
Collaborative robots are designed to manipulate tools/effectors and accessories, or to process or transfer components or products, their use is intended for non-hazardous applications, where the entire application, including the tool / end effector, the workpiece , obstacles and other machines, does not present significant hazards according to the risk assessment of the specific application. Currently there are protection regulations that manufacturers must include in their devices, however, at the information security level there is no standard or recommendation that they can follow. In this research we will work with the UR3 robot that is used in the development of the macroproject of the Cooperative University of Colombia in cooperation with the Paris Ouest Nanterre La Défense university entitled “Design of a flexible end-effector for multi-object manipulation with incorporated intelligence. Phase I ”. At the information security level, it was found that there are multiple vulnerabilities associated with the UR3, 5 and 10 robots from the manufacturer Universal Robots. With the development of this research, it is intended to minimize the impact that a vulnerability can be exploited by an attacker, and for this purpose, the development of a support system for the communication and information security of the UR3 Robot is proposed. Packet Tracer and GNS3 Software will be used for the development and validation of the support system.
