Resumen
In the first instance, field work was carried out to collect information on the current state of the section, such as the inventory of road infrastructure, vehicular and pedestrian gauges, the VMP route, and surveys of the sector's population; and thus evaluate the deficiencies of the urban design that this section presents with respect to mobility. In addition, the road safety mobility plan was carried out for personal mobility vehicles (VMP) and pedestrians in order to establish the regulation of these vehicles, in order to avoid mobility conflicts and accidents. On the other hand, strategies were established to encourage the use of VMP through campaigns aimed at the educational community and the general population. After obtaining all the information mentioned above, the design of the new lanes for VMP and the platforms suitable for pedestrians was carried out, taking into account the population with reduced mobility (PRM), this was designed in accordance with the ‘Cartilla de Andenes Distrital’ of Bogotá. The design was concluded taking into account adequate signage for the sector; likewise, intelligent pedestrian crossings, security cameras, lighting with solar panels and an electric parking system to obtain a sustainable and intelligent infrastructure. Through this project, the design of platforms, pedestrian crossings suitable and safe for people with reduced mobility and the design of the prototype route combined with Personal Mobility Vehicles in the study section was obtained.
