Job insecurity is a problem that affects professionals limiting their growth, basic health needs, pension, arl. Among others, it seeks to characterize the essential parameters to determine the existence of job insecurity in veterinarians or zootechnical veterinarians in Colombia using the survey as a descriptive method. Objective: To determine the existence of job insecurity in veterinarians who perform disciplinary work in Colombia Design: survey as a descriptive method Information sources: Google Scholar, ScienceDirec, springer Inclusion criteria: articles referring to the issue of job insecurity were used, the objective of which was focused on those that used criteria on: legislation, working conditions, employment conditions. Surveillance and control associations, dimensions of precariousness Exclusion criteria: articles with a topic other than the characterization study that do not allow to evaluate the essential parameters of precariousness or its dimensions. Documents with languages teeth to English, Spanish Results: with the survey implemented to determine the existence of precariousness in veterinary doctors or zootechnical veterinary doctors as a base of 350 to be able to evaluate the answers, a total of 640 participation was counted, increasing the results allowing to have a larger population to analyze the data Conclusions: the interest of professionals in having better working and employment conditions that allows them to grow in their field have a better quality of life, knowledge of the different entities that regulate the profession such as legislation Keywords: precariousness, survey, working conditions, employment conditions, legislation.
