The purpose of this article is to show how technology and the use of digital marketing became the e-commerce tool, to innovate in the sale of products and services in the commercial and business sector at a global, national, regional level and for In our case, in the municipality of Arauca, adopting this mechanism to reinvent itself and adjust to the new reality during the pandemic, given the isolation measures decreed by the National Government, to prevent the increase in COVID-19 infections. This tool not only gave way to online sales, through technological platforms and residential companies, but also allowed companies in the municipality of Arauca, to know the advantages offered by information and communication technologies and how they are expanded specters such as the customer segment, new forms of payment, turning this conjunctural moment into a great opportunity to guarantee the provision of their services remotely; now from the virtual world and with the implementation of biosafety protocols, the health of both owners and their customers is protected. Digital marketing not only revolutionized the way to sell, but it has become the awakening of commerce in times of preventive isolation by COVID-19
