Resumen
The present research deals with oral communication, according to (Cantero & Mendoza, 2003) "it is a form of interaction between several participants that is based on the speech act" (p.35). Likewise, the purpose of this study is to design a strategy for strengthening oral communication based on the three-brain theory in technical secondary education. Similarly, the type of research is qualitative, with the participation of thirteen students from the tenth grade, consisting of nine male students and four female students between the ages of 15 and 16 years old. The first questionnaire corresponds to the tricerebral theory of Waldemar de Gregori in which it was observed that the cerebral dominance of the students is as follows: in first place is the right brain "emotional intelligence" equivalent to 62%, in second place the left brain "investigative intelligence" with 23% and in third place the central brain "operative intelligence" with 15% in the 27 indicators. The second, is a test about the oral communication test By Pablo Maroto, which was adapted according to the standards of the Spanish language area of Colombia, and the results obtained were that the students of the tenth grade are in the level of "not very acceptable" with an equivalent of 38 points based on the maximum and minimum measures in the fifteen indicators of the test. With this research it was possible to determine that the development of the tricerebral if it has a relationship with the development of communicative competence, is important to be able to have a better level in oral communication to have cultivated and provided the three brains. If you work in the brains you can get a better performance in oral communication.
