The Asopezjun organization located in the inspection of the juncal of the municipality of palero was created in 2006 from the needs of the rural communities of the juncal, who saw the great potential that the area offered them in terms of the production of red tilapia, Hence the idea for the creation of the fishing association of the juncal Asopezjun which its corporate purpose lay in the production of tilapia for commercialization, later with the passage of time the association when seeing the economic benefits that this activity generated them decided to set up a tilapia treatment plant that focused on making hamburger meat from red tilapia fillet. The organization is currently implementing competitiveness strategies to reach new markets in the region.
