dc.descriptionEl sistema endocrino con su estrecha relación con el sistema nervioso se encarga de regular y coordinar las actividades de los órganos tejidos y órganos de un individuo. Cuando una glándula endocrina se afecta como la adrenal y tiroides, los hallazgos clínicos a veces son inespecíficos y comunes a otras muchas enfermedades por lo que su diagnóstico resulta complicado por esto se hace necesario que el diagnóstico se lleve a cabo mediante interconsultas con especialistas, un endocrinólogo veterinario se hace fundamental para orientar al propietario y llevar a cabo un tratamiento eficaz con el fin de devolverle al perro su calidad de vida. En importante resaltar que la mayoría de las endocrinopatías en muchos lugares del mundo no se hace de forma correcta lo que pone en riesgo la vida del paciente. Este artículo contiene información relevante mediante una revisión de literatura sobre algunas de las enfermedades del sistema endocrino en perros más comunes en la práctica clínica.es
dc.description.abstractEndocrine system with its close relationship with the nervous system is responsible for regulating and coordinating the activities of the organs, tissues and organs of an individual. When an endocrine gland is affected such as the adrenal and thyroid, the clinical findings are sometimes nonspecific and common to many other diseases, so its diagnosis is complicated by this,it is necessary that the diagnosis be carried out through consultation with specialists, a Veterinary endocrinologist is essential to guide the owner and carry out effective treatment in order to restore the dog's quality of life. It is important to note that most endocrinopathies in many parts of the world are not done correctly, which puts the patient's life at risk. This article contains relevant information through a literature review on some of the most common diseases of the endocrine system in dogs in clinical practice.es
