This management project is a proposal to reduce dropout rates academic, mainly in the programs corresponding to the area of health sciences, and specifically, in nursing programs. The antecedent and basis of the proposal presented here is constituted from an extensive documentary review and a work research previously carried out by the authors. Considering that the socioeconomic factor is one of the most common causes of student dropout, a pilot plan is developed that seeks connect and link some students with a health center where they can strengthen and put in practice their knowledge, in addition to being linked to work. This pilot plan develops within the framework of the dual education model and based on the methodological approaches provided by the logical framework tool. As a result, the training and awareness of the IPS Holistic Care staff on the benefits of dual education in addition to hiring and linking of five students who were at risk of dropping out. Among the many conclusions, the need to promote the dual education model in the country is highlighted, with the in order to raise the level and quality of the learning and knowledge acquired in the university programs, and also mitigate dropout rates through the generation of job opportunities for students.
