The central theme of this work is the design of a treatment plant for wastewater, normally, these tend to differentiate between domestic or household wastewater, and industrial wastewater, in this case when located in a place of study such as the Santa Teresa village, which, despite having the presence of restaurants and accommodation, its wastewater continues to be of a residential nature, this because its waste or components in it do not have presence of heavy metals, minerals and chemical residues . In the first instance, the path at its head was visited, taking the coordinates of the place where the treatment plant will be left, which by the way is entering the path, and the coordinates of where it ends. A count was made of the houses and in turn the presence of a school, accommodation and restaurants was highlighted, this with the intention that through the information of DANE and their respective calculations they could provide us with a projection of the population and in turn , the flow through the number of taxpayers that appear in the place of study. From these data, the design as such of the plant was based, its dimensioning and criteria for it, taking as a guide the RAS regulations, something that tends to be of utmost importance to seek an optimal design of the WWTP is the analysis with respect to to a design flow that will be managed for the entire project. Therefore, each component of the WWTP was determined and dimensioned, this includes a rectangular channel, an inclined grid, a gradual transition, a sand trap, a septic tank with an anaerobic filter, a grease trap, its respective pipeline based on the product catalog. Novafort wavin and, finally, the different types of infiltration where in the end, the wetland tends to be the one that meets the design criteria with respect to our data already obtained previously. In addition, the friction and accessory losses that are reflected in the 4 ”pipe of the portfolio were analyzed, the design of the gradual transition that corresponds to an angle of 12.5 ° where it is intended to avoid sudden changes in the course of the flow, calculation of the step, and sizing of each structure based on the regulations with their respective plans, taking into account as designers a structural wall of 15cm (0.15m).
