Our research project refers to the analysis of the different critical factors that have affected the development of the commercial activities of ESTACION DE SERVICIO LLANOGAS SA, a company that is dedicated to the distribution of natural gas and vehicular gas and that since its creation It has been in permanent growth and opening towards new markets. During its positioning in the city of Girardot, Cundinamarca has been characterized by the quality of its product and above all by the different loyalty strategies it uses with its customers (internal and external), thus achieving stand out from other companies with the same activity economical. For the analysis of this problem, it is necessary to recognize the most significant internal and external critical factors used by the company. According to Dickison, in 1982 “critical success factors are internal or external factors to the company that must be identified and recognized because they support or threaten the achievement of the company's objectives and even its existence. They require special attention to avoid unpleasant surprises or missed opportunities. They can be internal or external, positive or negative in their impact ”. Critical factors have been considered one of the most complex variables to define and also the easiest to explain when the experience of a business life has been had, all this depends on the different points of view for which they are used. In the same way, the analysis of these critical factors are implemented for the successful development of a project, that is why this research was carried out in the interest of contributing to the achievement of total success and development of improvements in the company, since these allow reach conclusions that transform, apply and generate new strategies and methodologies that will allow us to mitigate and correct errors with which we can fully carry out the business mission proposed by the company.
